                         ‘Baby Talk’ Neonatal Intensive Care Reading Project
                        The “baby talk” reading project provides board 
books for loan to parents/carers and staff to read 
to neonatal intensive care babies at particular risk 
of reduced exposure to communication. It is a 
collaboration between clinical staff, hospital library 
staff, and Louth library service. |

 This workshop provides a rapid introduction to the concept

It includes a practical exercise in which you will develop a set 
of scenarios yourself and explore how these can be used for 
improving your library service and making it more resilient to 
uncertainty. This workshop is based on a CILIP UK toolkit 
which accompanies the future libraries report Come rain or 
shine. Attendees are recommended to read Come rain or 
shine beforehand

libraries may benefit from AI and where these 
technologies may not be helpful. The goal of the

uses of machine learning, which reflect the values of
