CILIP Employers Forum: Future ready library and information services

CILIP Employers Forum Forum 2022: Winning the talent retention and recruitment battle through effective health and wellbeing policies
CILIP’s popular one-day Employers Forum is running online this year as well as in-person and is generously sponsored by recruitment specialists CB Resourcing.
The day provides an excellent opportunity for senior staff to share knowledge, network and learn alongside their peers.
There will also be an opportunity for the group to share experiences in other policies around successful retention and recruitment as well as looking at effective health and wellbeing policies.
This page is for those for those attending online. To attend in-person, please head to the in-person event page.
Winning the talent retention and recruitment battle through effective health and wellbeing policies
Promoting health and wellbeing
with your team has long been a focus of good employers. From fruit bowls in the office to away-days and employee assistance programmes, employers have long been aware of the benefits this provides.
In light of a very tight recruitment market, employers are revisiting their approach in order to retain people and be an attractive employer for new talent.
In this Forum, delegates will: • Hear
case studies from two libraries in two sectors (Suffolk Libraries and The Bodleian Libraries). What worked well and what lessons have they learnt? • Participate
in a workshop led by workplace wellbeing consultant Claire Warner to develop a plan. • Share their own experiences with the peers and discuss how promoting health and wellbeing will look like in the future.
There will also be an opportunity for delegates to benchmark their service beforehand and we’ll be sharing the results of this on the day. Pricing structure
