Alex Pooley - Chair
Alex is responsible for the vision and strategy for the group, as well as being the first point of contact when liaising with external associations and groups.
Alex is a Chartered Librarian who has been working in international law firms since 2008. She joined the CLSIG committee in 2016.
Jo Chatwood - Vice Chair and Digital Champion
The Vice Chair supports the Chair in working for the vision and strategy for CLSIG, and in liaison with external associations and groups. Additionally as Digital Champion Jo responsible for maintaining and keeping
the content on our website up-to-date. If you notice something needs correcting, please contact her.
Josephine Chatwood first entered the library profession as a Junior Library Assistant at Cambridge University Library in 2013 before progressing to a position as LLM and MCL Collection Supervisor at the Squire Law
Library in 2015. Josephine has recently graduated with a Masters in Library and Information Services Management from the University of Sheffield and has moved into the world of Information Management for local
government. She volunteers as co-treasurer of the CILIP East Members Network Committee and vice-chair & secretary of the Commercial, Legal and Scientific Information Group. Josephine also sits on the Cambridge
County Advisory Group On Archives And Local Studies.
Philip Eagle - Honorary Treasurer
Philip is the Treasurer for the group, responsible for keeping our accounts and reporting back to the committee. Contact Philip if you need to claim expenses or if you have a question about our accounts.
Philip is the STM Subject Librarian at the British Library. He was previously the Treasurer for the Patent and Trademark Group.
