Beth came to academic libraries after a career as an evolutionary biologist and is currently the Head of Library and Information Services at the Francis Crick Institute. Having a history of working in EDI projects and campaigns,
including serving as the LGBT Officer at Sussex University Student's Union, Beth won the Royal Society Athena Prize for setting up the LGBTQ+ STEMinar, a conference for LGBTQ+ scientists to share their work. Beth was also a
recent recipient of the CILIP 125 award, for work on EDI, research data management and other contributions to the academic library sector.

Al MacAodha, Secretary
Al recently graduated in Classics and now works in fundraising for a local museum in Dundee. They have experience in higher education libraries, working both back-of-house and as an archive assistant for special collections. They
are currently exploring different career options across archives, museums, and libraries. Al is neurodiverse and passionate about anti-oppression work in the sector.

Natalie Brown, Treasurer
Natalie is a full time Library Customer Services Team Leader at a HE institution. She has experience in public libraries, HE libraries and law libraries. She started her library journey within public libraries and found her calling
to help the public access the information they need as well as support anyone with an interest in reading. Moving into the HE sector encouraged her to study for an MA in Library and Information Management with the University
of Sheffield. After graduating in 2018 she is in the process of working towards Chartership, is a member of her institutions LGBTQ+ network and passionate about making spaces for LGBTQ+ and how managers can support their LGBTQ+
colleagues.

Anna completed her MSc Information Science in 2022 while completing a Graduate Traineeship in a higher education library. They are now an Academic Liaison Librarian at a London HEI. Anna is passionate about providing inclusive

Stacy Murtagh, Digital Champion
Stacy works in the North-West as a Systems Librarian for a Government Library. She has worked in a variety of roles including Special Collections and Archives, was once a School Librarian and has nearly a decade of experience in
HE and Research libraries, working with collections and repositories. Stacy also sits on a committee for Neurodivergent Library staff (https://nlisn.org).

Deborah Varenna, Committee Member
Deborah is the Directorate Co-ordinator for the Organisational Knowledge Management Team at the Disclosure and Barring Service, additionally supporting the EDI & Strategy & Business Planning Team. She joined the Steering
Group for the CILIP LGBTQ+ Network as a newly qualified professional to help build inclusive and supportive spaces for LGBTQ+ Library, Knowledge and Information workers, she is passionate about ensuring that all voices are
heard.

Binni Brynolf, Committee Member
Binni is a freelance Digital Library Consultant, working with library systems, digital assets and data clean-up. They have worked for almost 30 years in public, academic, and special libraries both in the UK and Sweden. Binni has
been a trustee of CILIP since January 2020 and is active in their trade union's LGBT+ network working group. Binni also maintains a list of LGBTQIA resources for library and information workers..
