CILIP Accessibility Award (in memory of Lynne Mackie) from the CILIP Disability Network
The CILIP Disability Network offers an annual award to highlight good practice and innovation in the support of disabilities for library, information and knowledge management professionals and end users.
The award can be for a person or a team.
The winner of the award will be announced at the annual CILIP Disability Network event which is usually held in early December to mark the International Day of People With Disabilities.
The winner has the opportunity to present their winning good practice or innovation at this event.

Guidelines: Unless otherwise indicated, applicants for the CILIP Disability Network Award do not have to be CILIP members, but must work within the library, information or knowledge management sector. The award is at the discretion of the CILIP Disability Network Committee. The Committee’s decision is final, and no correspondence can be entered into. The Committee reserves the right not to make an award. You can nominate yourself or be nominated for the award.
A condition of being a recipient of the award is that the winner will share their experiences with CILIP Disability Members and, if requested, will produce a written [or video] report of their work (circa 1,200 words or a ten-minute video).
Closing date for nominations is midnight on 4th November 2024. Anything submitted after this date won’t be considered for 2024.
