Chris Morrison

Copyright, Software Licensing and Policy Manager, University of Kent

Chris is responsible for copyright policy, licences, training and advice at the University of Kent. He has a Masters in Copyright Law from King’s College London. He was previously the Copyright Assurance Manager at the British Library and before that worked for music collecting society PRS for Music. He is a member of the Universities UK / GuildHE Copyright Negotiation and Advisory Committee on whose behalf he is also a member of the government’s Copyright Education Advisory Group. He is co-author of the second edition of 'Copyright and E-Learning: a guide for practitioners' which was published in July 2016. Chris is also the creator of Copyright the Card Game, an open educational resource designed to teach people about copyright in an accessible and fun way.
