Service Recovery Hub

Service Recovery Hub

As the UK moves gradually out of lockdown and workplaces, libraries, information and knowledge services look towards reopening physical and face to face services we are replacing the Coronavirus Information Service with this new Service Recovery Hub.

The Service Recovery Hub will provide links, resources, example policies and other materials for members who are either already in the process of recovering services, or who will be doing so in the coming weeks and months.

If you would like share any material around the following area with fellow members you can email web@cilip.org.uk and we will add the information to this webpage.

  • Links to useful sector-specific guidance (ie. service recovery guidance that is specific to your sector)
  • Links to general service recovery guidance, such as information on buildings, services, stock and materials handling
  • Links to helpful information about supporting staff and leadership through service recovery
  • Example documents such as sample risk assessments or policies that can be shared

Resilience Hub

In addition to the specific guidance detailed below around recovery from the Coronavirus pandemic, the CILIP Resilience Hub has a wealth of advice and resources to help you build organisational and personal resilience including checklists, an introduction to scenario planning and mental health and wellbeing guidance.
