Community libraries / special interest

Hello colleagues, There are a couple community libraries / archives being set up by some community groups locally, and I was wondering what experience you have had in supporting these libraries and archives and working in partnership with them. Some are specific to one specific topic (art) and some with a focus from a particular community within the local area. Thank you.
