Teresa Morris-Spicer - Vice-Chair
Teresa is a pharmaceutical chemist and CILIP accredited medical information professional.
Her current role as a Clinical Effectiveness Specialist at Bupa involves finding and critically appraising clinical information, assessing its validity, relevance and importance.
Teresa has a background in evidence-based medicine and medical information management working in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and charity sectors. Teresa also supports Bupa’s Medical Advisory Council.
Her hobbies include reading, social history and gardening.

Jon is Information Services Senior Advisor at Cambridgeshire County Council.
The Treasurer manages budgets and business planning for the CILIP East Committee. This includes overseeing expenditure for events, promotional campaigns and outreach.

Sophy completed a PG Dip in Library and Information Services Management with the University of Sheffield in 2021. She works as a Scholarly Communication Support at Cambridge University Library.
She has a background in higher education and publishing, and has previously worked in research administration, academic journals and schools publishing.
Marie Montague - Professional Registration Support Officer
Marie has worked in medical and academic libraries in the course of her career.
Joining CILIP East Members' Network Committee in 2018, she shares the role of Professional Registration Support Officer with Kirstie Preest.
Her hobbies include Scottish country dancing, walking and gardening in addition to an enthusiasm for crime drama.
Currently reading her way through Agatha Christie's Miss Marple books; she doesn't know why she hasn't read them before now!
Mary Kattuman - Sunrise Co-Editor
Mary did an MA in Library and Information Studies from UCL and was in a couple of cataloguing posts.
She did the retrospective conversion of the Indic material in the guardbook catalogue of Cambridge University Library and now catalogues English language material there.
She is a co-editor of the Sunrise newsletter and is always delighted to get contributions!
Lyndsey Goddard - Social Media Editor
Lyndsey is a qualified Librarian working at an independent secondary school in Cambridge.
This is her second time on the CILIP East Committee, having previously volunteered as Web and E-bulletin Editor.
Her knowledge of crime fiction and forensic science worries some people, but she makes good use of it by writing interactive murder mystery evenings.
New Professionals Support Officer - Shanice Muir
Shanice works at Anglia Ruskin University and is a Library Services Adviser.
She has a background in education and has recently completed her CILIP Certification accreditation.
Her hobbies include reading, visiting the theatre and socialising over dinner.
