CILIP SW Bursary Award for CILIP CONFERENCE
CILIP SW Regional Member Network invites applications for a bursary to attend the CILIP Conference to be held in Birmingham, 12
th-13th July 2023

The bursary enables a current CILIP SW member (full criteria below) to experience the CILIP 2023 Conference. The award covers the whole cost of the conference fee, accommodation and food.

- Wednesday night accommodation at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole

- Wednesday and Thursday Conference access
- Wednesday
lunch, drinks reception and dinner
- Thursday, breakfast and lunch; refreshments provided on both days
This Bursary is offered to CILIP South West members and who fall into at least one of the below categories:

- Students
- Those
new to the profession (having joined the profession in the last 1-5 years)
- With earnings below £23,000 per annum or who are unwaged
Successful bursary recipients are expected to produce either a written or video report of their time at the conference (circa 1,200 words or a
ten-minute
video), with permissions for the Member Network and CILIP teams to publish in print and/or online. The deadline for receipt of reports is 14 August 2023. Bursary recipients are also expected to actively document their time while at the
conference via Twitter tagging @CILIPSW & @CILIPInfo to support CILIP South West Member Network members who are unable to attend.
