Up to four bursaries, up to a maximum of £250 per applicant, can be awarded in each financial year. Please note: Bursaries depend on the availability of funding, and the Committee reserves the right not to award free places. Normally, only one award will be conferred for any given activity. However, in the event of our receiving more than one high-calibre application for the same event, we will consider offering part-awards to other candidates.

Applicants will be expected to state why they want to attend a particular event and how they plan to use their new knowledge and skills. Successful applicants will be expected to produce a report for the PMLG Journal ‘Access’, within 1 month of attendance.

Please refer to Guidelines for Bursary Applications before applying. Funding can be applied for at any time during the year by submitting the Bursary Application Form. Decisions regarding Bursary Awards are normally taken at PMLG Committee Meetings – please try and ensure your application is received well before the date of the next Meeting prior to your event (meetings are held three times per year - usually February, May and October), to allow time for consideration. Applicants will be notified as soon as possible after the decision is made.
