Online, Tuesday 27 October 2020
10am-1pm
This half-day online workshop led by Matt Finch of mechanicaldolphin.com will introduce participants to tools and approaches which allow them to identify, describe, and define the impact services have
on the communities they serve.
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges and changed how we deliver services. As we look beyond traditional transactional measures like loans and footfall, how can we capture and evidence the differences we are still making to
our communities, both qualitatively and quantitatively?
The workshop draws on Matt's experiences working on strategy and evaluation with libraries in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. This highly participatory session is suitable for staff at all levels in library, knowledge and
information services across all sectors.

By the end of the half-day event attendees will have:
- An understanding of the changing nature of value
