Copyright Essentials Training Summer 2025

Naomi Korn Associates and CILIP Partnership Training

Online, Two Part Course

CPD-certified

Part 1: Thursday 12 June 2025 9.30am-1pm

Part 2: Thursday 19 June 2025 9.30am-1pm

This fundamental two part online workshop is perfect for anybody who needs an introduction to the basic copyright principles and/or is reproducing, creating, sharing, publishing, commissioning or digitising content.

It is designed for staff working across all library, information and knowledge management sectors and great for newcomers to copyright or those who need a refresher. You need to attend both parts to complete the programme.

Watch Naomi talk about the value of Copyright Training and what it means for your organisation in these short videos:

Why is Copyright Training a priority when budgets are tight? (1:19)

How does Copyright Training add value to the organisation? (1:53)

How can copyright knowledge help librarians promote digital literacy? (1:01)

Hear about it from delegates:

“At every stage of the presentation, I learned something interesting or new. The group work was well-spaced and timed, and the subjects were well-chosen.”

“The programme was extremely informative. Naomi was very engaging and delivered the content in an entertaining and easily-digestible way. The activities were great and allowed for voluntary engagement without any pressure, making for a wonderful and comfortable experience for everyone.”
