Midlands

Regional sub-committee supporting members living in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and the West Midlands.

We aim to support and develop the Academic and Research Libraries Group (ARLG) mission by: 

• organising training events, workshops and visits on topics of current interest to staff working in academic and research library and information services. The annual meetings programme will normally offer a mix of events in terms of length, time, venue and topic.
• supporting section members with staff development activities through the provision of a conference bursary.
• collaborating locally with the East and West Midlands regional networks of CILIP.
