The CILIP International Library and Information Group's (CILIP ILIG's) special interest is the international aspect of library and information science and knowledge management.
CILIP ILIG does this in a number of ways from informal but informative early evening meetings to more formal half, or full day, seminars and courses that look, in detail, an aspect of our profession. Our journal, Focus on International Library and Information Work, is published, electronically, three times a year with a selection of the year's articles published in a paper Annual Issue published at the end of the year.
We can be found on Facebook and Linkedin, be tweeted @CILIP_ILIG and watched on YouTube. We welcome all those interested in the international aspects of library and information science and knowledge management to join LIS-ILIG, our online discussion group.
We have launched a new Award in memory of Alan Hopkinson and we manage, for CILIP, the Anthony Thompson Award.
