Catalogue & Index, the periodical of CILIP Metadata and Discovery Group (ISSN: 2399-9667) has been published since 1966 to discuss the organisation
of knowledge to enable resource discovery and collection management, including articles on cataloguing, indexing, metadata, and national and international standards and formats.
Catalogue & Index is an open access journal and is usually published several times a year.

The MDG Bulletin is emailed to Group Members whenever we have updates or news to share with you; alongside our social media accounts on X, Bluesky, and LinkedIn, the MDG Bulletin is where you will first hear of offers and events for
Members.
All you need to do is join us, via CILIP's Special Interest Group options or as a group only member, or select ‘Metadata & Discovery Group’ under ‘Special Interest Groups’ when filling in the CILIP Member
Email Preference Form.
We operate in-line with CILIP's Social media / customer service policy and use social media to engage with and learn from our members and
others across the sector.

Facilitating communication and discussion on the issues that are important to our community.
All are welcome to post messages and questions relating to cataloguing, indexing, classification and metadata on our e-forum. Simply subscribe to receive messages posted to the e-forum straight to your inbox.

Presentations and recordings
