The Library and Information History Group organises events on various aspects of library and information history throughout the year, including seminars, conferences and visits.  These events are usually open to members and non-members of the Group. The LIHG also jointly sponsors the series of Library History Research Seminars run by the Institute of English Studies at the School of Advanced Studies, University of London.
