The Committee for the Knowledge and Information Management (K&IM) Special Interest Group (SIG) brings together information and knowledge a wide diversity of committee member expertise and experience. We have UK and international
members. All of this helps to make the K&IM SIG a significant and progressive group in the information and knowledge management sector. We meet once a month virtually using Zoom.
SCOOP is the Standing Committee on Official Publications.
SCOOP aims to:
improve the access to, and availability of, UK official publications
identify problems in the provision of access to UK official publications, in particular their bibliographic control and distribution
make proposals for possible solutions to problems in the provision of access to UK official publications
provide a mechanism for the exchange of views on matters of common interest to the library and information community concerning UK official publications
provide a forum with The National Archives (as it carries out the funtions of HMSO and OPSI) for the constructive discussion of services provided for the library and information community
take the necessary steps to keep the library and information profession informed of their deliberations.
