Earlier this year CILIP Ireland invited expressions of interest to join our Committee. We are now delighted to welcome the following two new Committee members:

1. Cath Skipper, School Librarian at Campbell College, Belfast;
2. Seana McAuley, Librarian at Allen & Overy LLP.

Our Committee is made up of representatives from a diverse range of sectors. This affords us a distinct advantage as the breadth of our combined knowledge and experience base ensures that CILIP Ireland can effectively represent the profession locally. We are confident that the new Committee members will enhance the range of knowledge and experience available and will make a strong and valuable contribution to our work. Speaking about joining the CILIP Ireland Committee Cath Skipper said:

While Seána McAuley said:

"I enjoy the sharing of knowledge and experience that comes from connecting with librarians and information professionals working in different sectors to my own. I very much look forward to expanding this through my involvement with CILIP Ireland."
