We are a small close-knit Special Interest Group (SIGs), and we welcome membership from individuals from all library sectors who are interested in marketing their services.

We are also very interested in hearing from other CILIP member networks and SIGs, as well as other external bodies, who might be interested in working with us to hold events or support our members.

Every year, we host the Marketing Excellence Awards, which enable us to recognise and celebrate marketing successes within library services across the UK. We share this best practice with both members and non-members at our Marketing Excellence Conference, which is also held annually.

We run other seminars throughout the year, so you can find out more about new and innovative ways to promote your service. 

The Committee meets regularly online via Skype, and once a year face-to-face. We are a friendly bunch, so please do get in touch if you would like to suggest other ways we can support you in marketing your services and keeping up to date with developments in this area.
