Wales Higher Education Libraries Forum (WHELF) held its annual colloquium online this year. Check out the presentations, including 'Futureproofing Me' : how to help HE by helping yourself first by our relationship manager.

This presentation outlines some ways that information professionals can develop confidence and enthusiasm during difficult times and argues that, now more than ever, Higher Education needs its staff to be experts in their fields. Appropriate for other sectors too!

As a follow up to this excellent CILIP Cymru Wales webinar in April Lou Peck has also shared her blog on how to make the most of working from home - how to stay healthy, sane, and productive! In the webinar Lou talked about putting on virtual events and she has agreed to let us host another blog BYOB which talks about the ups and downs of getting online events to work well for you and your participants.

CILIP Cymru Wales held its Annual General Meeting in Aberystwyth on 21st November 2019. With presentations on Wikipedia and Wales, the National Library of Wales' Living Memory project, the re-launched CILIP professional registration, People's Collection Wales support for libraries, and a Superhero workshop, there were lots of reasons (not just scones!) to attend the CILIP Cymru Wales AGM.
