Archwilio Grwpiau Darllen Gwrth-hiliaeth a Gweithredwyr Cymdeithasol mewn Llyfrgelloedd ac Archifau

Galwad am Gyfranogwyr

Ydych chi'n gweithio mewn Llyfrgell neu Archif ac yn rhedeg neu'n cymryd rhan mewn grŵp darllen gwrth-hiliaeth neu actifydd cymdeithasol arall? Ydych chi'n fodlon rhannu eich profiad a'ch dysgu i helpu eraill i sefydlu, datblygu neu ymuno â grŵp darllen gweithredwyr cymdeithasol?

Rydym yn chwilio am siaradwyr i rannu eu profiadau o fod yn rhan o grwpiau darllen sy’n canolbwyntio ar ymarfer ac addysg gweithredwyr cymdeithasol, gan gynnwys gwrth-hiliaeth, hawliau LHDTC+ a galluogrwydd. Bydd siaradwyr yn cael eu gwahodd i gymryd rhan mewn digwyddiad ar-lein ddydd Mercher 14 Mehefin 2023, rhwng 2pm – 4pm, i rannu gwersi a ddysgwyd a darparu awgrymiadau defnyddiol ar sut i sefydlu a chynnal grŵp darllen, neu sut i fynd ati i ymuno ag un. Rydym yn chwilio am gyfraniadau gan bob gwasanaeth llyfrgell, gan gynnwys ac heb fod yn gyfyngedig i AU, AB a’r sector cyhoeddus. Trefnir y digwyddiad hwn gan CILIP Cymru Wales, mewn cydweithrediad â Chasgliadau Arbennig ac Archifau Prifysgol Caerdydd a Llyfrgell Prifysgol Salford.

Rydym yn chwilio am gyflwyniad byr o 5-7 munud. Cyflwynwch ddisgrifiad byr (uchafswm 300 gair) o'r hyn y byddwch yn ei gynnwys yn y cyflwyniad a'r profiad y byddwch yn ei rannu i Amy Staniforth amy.staniforth@cilip.org.uk erbyn dydd Gwener 10 Mawrth.

Exploring Anti-Racist and Social Activist Reading Groups in Libraries and Archives

Call for Participants

Do you work in a Library or Archive and run or take part in an anti-racist or other social activist reading group? Are you willing to share your experience and learning to help others set up, develop or join a social activist reading group?

We are looking for speakers to share their experiences of being involved in reading groups which focus on social activist practice and education, including anti-racism, LGBTQ+ rights and ableism. Speakers will be invited to take part in an online event on Wednesday 14th June 2023, 2pm – 4pm, to share lessons learned and provide helpful tips about how to establish and maintain a reading group, or how to go about joining one. We are looking for contributions from all library services, including and not limited to HE, FE and public sector. This event is organised by CILIP Cymru Wales, in collaboration with Cardiff University Special Collections and Archives and the University of Salford Library.

We are looking for short presentations of 5-7 minutes. Please submit a short description (max. 300 words) of what you will cover in the presentation and the experience you will share to Amy Staniforth amy.staniforth@cilip.org.uk by Friday 10 March.
