Dager yn y Llyfrgell

Mae gwobr Dager yn y Llyfrgell yn cydnabod gwaith awdur sefydlog ffuglen drosedd neu lyfrau ffeithiol trosedd, sydd wedi bod yn boblogaidd gyda benthycwyr llyfrgelloedd am amser hir. Mae hefyd yn gwobrwyo awduron sydd wedi cefnogi llyfrgelloedd a’u defnyddwyr trwy cymryd rhan mewn digwyddiadau a gynhelir gan llyfrgelloedd.

Dyfarnir gwobr Dager yn y Llyfrgell, a enwebir gan lyfrgelloedd y DU a Gweriniaeth Iwerddon, i awdur sy’n gweithio ym Mhrydain.

Gwahoddir i staff a gwirfoddolwyr llyfrgelloedd – hyd at dri ym mhob llyfrgell – enwebu awduron o’r rhestr a ddarperir gan feirniaid y Dager yn y Llyfrgell a Chefnogwyr Llyfrgelloedd y CWA.

Dagger in the Library

The Dagger in the Library is a prize for a body of work by an established writer of crime fiction or non-fiction who has long been popular with borrowers from libraries. It also rewards authors who have supported libraries and their users through taking part in library events.

The Dagger in the Library is awarded to an author writing in Britain and nominated by libraries in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Library staff and volunteers – up to three people per library – are invited to nominate authors from the list compiled by the Dagger in the Library judges and the CWA Library Champions.
