Gwobr Llyfrgellydd y Flwyddyn Cymru/Welsh Librarian of the Year Award 2018
Enillydd cyffredinol Gwobr 2018 oedd Tracey Stanley, Dirprwy Lyfrgellydd Prifysgol, Prifysgol Caerdydd. Enwebwyd Tracey gan gydweithwyr i gydnabod ei dylanwad dwfn ar lyfrgelloedd ledled Cymru a'i gwaith rhagorol i wella
boddhad myfyrwyr mewn llyfrgelloedd. Fel Cadeirydd CILIP Cymru o 2015-2017 mae hi wedi hyrwyddo diwylliant o wasanaeth cwsmeriaid, ac wedi cynrychioli'r sector llyfrgelloedd i Lywodraeth Cymru.
The overall winner of the 2018 Award was Tracey Stanley, Deputy University Librarian, Cardiff University. Tracey was nominated by colleagues in recognition of her profound influence on libraries across Wales and her outstanding
work to improve student library satisfaction. As Chair of CILIP Wales from 2015-2017 she has driven a culture of customer service, and represented the library sector to the Welsh Government.

Wendy Foster oedd enillydd haeddiannol Gwobr Llyfrgellydd y Flwyddyn Cymru ar gyfer 2017. Mae Wendy wedi gwneud cyfraniad rhagorol yn ei maes gwybodaeth iechyd, a thu hwnt trwy ei hymgysylltiad â chyrff cenedlaethol, gan gynnwys
CILIP. Yn ogystal, derbyniodd Thomas Hywel James wobr cyflawniad oes arbennig i gydnabod ei yrfa o ddatblygu a llunio gwasanaethau llyfrgelloedd cyhoeddus.
Wendy Foster was the deserving winner of the Welsh Librarian of the Year Award for 2017. Wendy has made an outstanding contribution in her field of health information, and beyond through her engagement with
national bodies, including CILIP. In addition, Thomas Hywel James received a special lifetime achievement award in recognition of his career in developing and shaping public library services.
